U12s County cup Match Report

Caythorpe & Fulbeck JFC U12s' County Cup run came to an end on Sunday against an exceptionally strong side who demonstrated why they are regarded as one of the strongest teams in the county.

The final score was a difficult one, but our boys and girls showed tremendous character throughout the match. Despite facing relentless pressure, every player continued to work hard for the team, support one another and represent the club with pride from first whistle to last.

While the result was not what we hoped for, football often provides tough lessons and valuable experiences. The squad never gave up, continued to encourage each other and showed the resilience that is at the heart of grassroots football.

A special mention goes to Maciej, who was deservedly awarded Player of the Match for his determination, effort and commitment throughout the game.

The scoreline may be tough to reflect on, be will use the experience to continue learning, improving and growing together.

Player of the Match: Maciej
