Parent Conduct – CFJFC

At Caythorpe & Fulbeck Junior Football Club, we believe football is about so much more than winning matches. It's about developing confidence, building friendships, learning teamwork, and creating a fun, safe environment where every child can enjoy the game.

Parents and supporters play a huge role in making that possible. Your encouragement from the sidelines helps our players grow, not only as footballers but as young people. Positive support can boost confidence, inspire resilience, and make every training session and matchday an enjoyable experience.

We ask all parents and spectators to remember that our coaches and volunteers give up their time to provide opportunities for every child to play and develop. Referees, many of whom are young officials still learning their trade, also deserve respect. Mistakes are part of football—for players, coaches, referees, and supporters alike.

Please encourage all players, applaud good play from both teams, and allow coaches to coach without conflicting instructions from the sidelines. Keeping comments positive helps children focus on enjoying the game rather than worrying about making mistakes.

Every child deserves to leave the pitch with a smile, regardless of the score. By demonstrating respect, patience, and sportsmanship, we set the example our young players will follow both on and off the pitch.

As a club, we are committed to creating a welcoming environment where everyone feels valued and supported. We ask all members of the Caythorpe & Fulbeck JFC family to uphold these values every time they represent the club.

Together, we can ensure that football remains a place where children can learn, grow, and create lasting memories. Thank you for your continued support, your enthusiasm, and your commitment to making Caythorpe & Fulbeck Junior Football Club a positive experience for every player, every volunteer, and every family.

Respect the game. Respect the officials. Respect each other. Most importantly, let the children play and enjoy their football.
